Toland Kister, Environmental Educator at Hudson River Park, leads education programs focusing on the ecology of the Hudson River Estuary. Since 2017, he has been a lead operator of the River Project Wetlab, an education and research space featuring a 3,500-gallon flow-through aquarium system that holds species collected from the Hudson River. Toland strives to incorporate environmental science and conservation into engaging, hands-on, place-based programming for students and educators. He holds a B.A. in Environmental Science and Animal Studies from New York University.
