This dialogue is being jointly organized by US SDSN’s Zero Hunger Pathways Project and Diversity and Equity Working Group and Howard University’s Center for Women, Gender and Global Leadership. It. will explore the impact of historic inequities and what policies and approaches are needed to address racial and gender inequities to put the country on the pathway to zero hunger.

Diversity, Equity, and Justice for Sustainability Working Group Launch

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 fully recognizes the essential role of diversity, culture, equity, and justice in integrating the economic and social aspects of development. The Working Group on Diversity, Equity, and Justice for Sustainable Development is formed to highlight the essentiality of integrating these key elements into the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
